Solomon Family

LeAnn was with us in Spring of 2017 when I had my daughter, Madigan.  She came over the day we got home – and  I was so nervous at first – but she made me feel so comfortable and took charge (in a loving way) and helped me feel at ease.  (And this wasn’t even my first baby!  I was just overwhelmed!)  She was kind, gracious, soft spoken, and funny and I loved chatting with her in the middle of the night when I was up nursing.  One time I remember nursing Madigan and burping her and Madigan broke out into an enormous grin and kind of giggled – she was only a few weeks old – and it really tickled LeAnn and I and we couldn’t stop giggling with delight ourselves!  She always made helpful suggestions about my diet to help the baby, and even gave me some advice about how to deal with my 2 year old son – who was having a hard time with the baby transition!  I also remember her coming to me with a “tough love” conversation (which couldn’t have been easy for her) about how to get the baby on a good schedule.  She and my husband helped me see reason, when I was clearly incapable 🙂  And I know I should never comment on a woman’s body – but can you imagine a better place for a newborn to cuddle up and snuggle?  And to give hugs to hormonal women??  She was physically perfect for this job too!!  🙂  What a comfort she was to us!!
She was such a wonderful part of our family for those 3-4 months and we will never forget her.
