I can't say enough good things about Debby, her staff, the training they all have, and the incredible love they show for the families they serve. I have been so blessed by their care and expertise, as well as by the confidence and training they gave my husband and me as new parents. My husband and I were totally unprepared for the many needs we would have, and all we would need to learn with the incredible gift of a child. I can't even imagine what it would have been like without Debby helping me through those early days with our first born, as I recovered from an unexpected C-section delivery. As the second and third child came, Debby provided for us the most wonderful helpers to be there as needed, and throughout the many times during those early years when we had need of extra hands. Each one of the staff she chooses is always outstanding, with impeccable character. I have learned so much from all of these women - more than just baby tips - but how to give of yourself to care for a child, and that has made all the difference in my journey of motherhood.

Carol was a Godsend. My husband and I didn't know anything about babies! Carol visited us before our son was born and got our nursery in order. Then, after Rhett was born, I was in a lot of pain after my C-section and couldn't do much. Carol came in the evening and took care of Rhett all night, so I could get some rest. She was so gentle and sweet to him! She literally taught us how to care for him. I was also having a lot of difficulty with nursing and she helped - I would have given up after a couple more days, but thanks to her instruction, I was able to nurse Rhett for over 5 months. Without Carol, our son's transition into the world would have been so difficult, as we would have fumbled around, trying to figure out what our baby needed. Thanks to her, we avoided most of the mistakes new parents make, and our son was a happy, content newborn as a result!

Debby Bostrom and her team of baby nurses are exceptional. I have been fortunate to work with almost all of these wonderful women and would highly recommend each and every one of them. Meg coached me through both of my babies' first weeks at home and taught me everything I needed to know to care for a newborn. My second son had colic, and when Meg had to go on to another job, Debby made sure someone was with me whenever I needed help. Debby has created a team of women that care deeply for children and mothers. They truly want the best for your family. Having a newborn is a joyous and overwhelming event in every woman's life, and it is incredibly comforting to me that Debby and her group of newborn specialists can provide new moms with the wisdom and experience they have acquired for so many years. I couldn't do it without them!

Seven o'clock at night was a magical time at our house when my son, Matthew, was a newborn. It was special because that was when Sheryle Owens would drive up, like clockwork, to help me care for this new baby who was still quite a mystery to me. Sheryle knew what to do. She helped me with everything from the umbilical cord to breastfeeding. It was like having a fairy godmother spend the night, and my husband and I truly appreciate all the advice, assistance, and love that she brought into our home during such an amazing time. As Matthew rapidly approaches his third birthday, I am glad to say that Sheryle is still a part of our lives. Because of the great start she provided for us, he is still a great sleeper, eater, and person! I would highly recommend allowing any member of this team into your home; your whole family will be glad you did!

My husband and I have known Dephine Tovar and Sheryle Owens, who are part of Debby Bostrom's group for a little over three years. They were our Postpartum Doula / Baby Nurses for both of our children, ages 3 years and 15 months. Words really cannot express how we feel about Delphine and Sheryle. Simply put, they are like family to us. They are the most wonderful, caring and loving people we know. They lived with us, dividing their time equally for approximately three weeks with our first, and six weeks for our second child. They have always made the transition of a new baby so enjoyable. They not only cared for our children, but they taught us as first time parents, how to care for a newborn. They also gave us the tools on how to continue when it was time for them to go. To this day both of our children are excellent sleepers. We totally attribute their good sleep habits to the nurses and their techniques, and their teaching them from the time that they are newborns how to put themselves to sleep. It takes people with a definite gift to do this. They seem to have an innate sense about them, when it comes to figuring out just what a baby needs. In addition to caring for the babies, they also take care of the mothers as well, which sets them apart from just a night nurse. They are so nurturing and loving; they are like second Mothers. We have recommended Delphine and Sheryle from Debby Bostrom's group numerous times to many friends, and even acquaintances, that they have them as their Baby Nurse. Words cannot express how grateful we are to them, and how much we love them all. They are true gems, and we are honored to know them. We will definitely request them again if we have a third child. They are and will be lifelong friends and family members, as far as we are concerned.

I was lucky enough to hear about Debby and her group from several friends who raved about them. Beryl was my Baby Specialist, and I couldn't have survived the first few weeks of motherhood without her. As a first time mom, I didn't know a thing about how to care for a newborn. Beryl taught me invaluable techniques and tips. I got more sleep and had much less stress than I ever dreamed possible as a new mom. Now, I have confidence in my ability to take excellent care of my baby daughter when we're alone. As an added value, every specialist is available by phone 24/7 for questions or advice, even after your time together ends. I highly recommend using this group - even if financial restrictions only allow for the phone call service. This time was well worth every penny we spent.

When we arrived home with our newborn, we had the peace of mind of knowing that a well-experienced and well-trained baby nurse would be here to teach us how to care for him. She cared not only for our newborn son, but also for us and for our four year old daughters. The greatest moment of each day was seeing Debby's car pull into our driveway!

When we found out we were expecting our first baby, we immediately called Debby in Dallas, Texas (from Louisville, KY) to try to line up a baby nurse. After a tumultuous pregnancy and birth, we were unbelievably blessed by God to have Sheryle (one of Debby's baby nurses) in our home. She was there the night we came home from the hospital. Looking back, I cannot imagine what it would have been like if we did not have her there. She provided the calmness and peace that anyone could have ever dreamed of during the exciting and scary time. Chas was born 4 pounds 14 ounces with clubfoot, hip dysplasia, bilateral inguinal hernia, torticollis, jaundice, and meso-cardia. (By the way, you would never know today by looking at him that he was born with these minor but different anomalies.) However, while we were trying to figure everything out as new parents, Sheryle was a consistent source of strength. She even went to several doctor's appointments with us. She helped me with breast-feeding, and with getting him on a wonderful schedule. Her guidance and patience were such a gift. After Sheryle's two-week stay, I continued to stay in touch with her to ask questions about nursing, bottle-feeding, and sleep schedules. She was a great source of help. We will never forget our new baby experience with Sheryle.

When my husband and I found out we were expecting our third child, we started looking into hiring a baby nurse to help with the baby. Several friends had used baby nurses from Debby's group, and they came very well-recommended. Nancy Wiley was the baby nurse that Debby scheduled for us, and she couldn't have found a more perfect match for our family. I had the expectation that the Nancy would just tend to the baby so we could get some sleep, but she did much more than that. She got our baby on a wonderful night-time sleeping and eating schedule. It was a lifesaver after she left us! She also shared many helpful techniques and ideas about caring for our baby. My husband and I thought we were just going to get much-needed sleep out of this experience, but we got so much more.

Carol was an absolute Godsend to our family. Our first child, Jack, arrived five days before Christmas via C-section. Not only did we leave the hospital the day before Christmas Eve with our adorable son, we also left with a false sense of confidence. As brand new parents, you have no idea what lies ahead the first few days and weeks. No book, class or friendly advice can truly prepare you. For the ten nights that she was with us, Carol made this transition as painless as possible. She taught us how to care for Jack and eased our worries and concerns. She was a wealth of knowledge and sound advice. Without Carol, we would have starved and frozen our child! We had no idea that we were not feeding him enough. We also did not realize that he needed more layers. Carol helped us figure out his feeding quantities and schedule, and introduced us to the fabulous "converter gowns" that can be either pajamas or a gown. She even went out during her time off and purchased one for us as a gift, so that we would know what to look for! I looked forward to 8:00 pm every night during those days because I knew that Carol would be there, and everything would be just fine. When our ten days were up, we begged her to stay on longer. Unfortunately for us, she had another new life to welcome, and other new parents to put at ease. We (and both of my younger sisters) will definitely use Carol (hopefully - if she is not booked) again! If she is booked, I know that Debby will send us another wonderful angel to help us!
